Our story
Thinkific started when our founder, Greg Smith, was teaching LSAT prep courses and realized the existing tools for building and selling online courses were terrible. Students deserved better learning experiences. Instructors deserved a platform that didn't take a cut of their revenue or make simple things complicated.
What started as a tool for course creators has evolved into a comprehensive learning commerce platform that serves businesses of all sizes — from solo experts monetizing their knowledge to enterprise teams delivering customer education and certification programs at scale.
